FMC Commissioners Lidinsky and Doyle Meet with China’s SISI Representatives

Commissioner Richard A. Lidinsky, Jr. and Commissioner William P. Doyle met with representatives of the Shanghai International Shipping Institute (SISI) on September 26, 2013 in Washington, DC. Representing SISI were Professor Zhen Hong, Secretary General of SISI; Professor Zhang Jieshu, Deputy Secretary General of SISI; and Angela Xu, International Cooperation Department of SISI. The cordial discussions included an overview of China – US maritime trade, Panama Canal Expansion, China’s Value Added Tax, and the proposed P3 Alliance.
