Commission Wants More Information on Two MTO Agreements

The FMC voted to issue a Request for Additional Information for two agreements pending before the agency.

Commission Meeting Includes Vote to Update OTI Rules & Briefing on Carrier Alliances

The FMC voted during the open session of meeting to issue a final rule updating the licensing rules for Ocean Transportation Intermediaries.  Other agenda items during open session were a briefing on procedures for monitoring ocean carrier alliances, and Frank LoBiondo Coast Guard Authorization Act of 2018 amendments to the Shipping Act.  In closed session, Commission received briefings on two pending agreements.
