National Shipper Advisory Committee Holding Meeting

The National Shipper Advisory Committee (NSAC/Committee) will hold a meeting on April 27, 2022, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM (Eastern) at the Federal Maritime Commission Hearing Room located at 800 North Capitol Street, NW Washington, DC. 

The meeting will also stream live via a link on the Commission’s website.

The agenda for the meeting includes a briefing by Commissioner Carl W. Bentzel on the Maritime Transportation Data Initiative he is leading as well as updates from the NSAC Subcommittee on Fees and Surcharges and the Subcommittee on Data. 

The Committee will consider policy issue proposals from the Subcommittee on Fees and Surcharges it might recommend the Federal Maritime Commission address.  These recommendations are available for the public to view in advance of the meeting on the NSAC’s website. 

To attend the in-person session, submit a request to nsac@fmc.gov and include “REGISTER FOR NSAC MEETING” in the subject line.  Public seating is limited and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis for those who register in advance. 

The deadline for members of the public to register to attend the meeting in-person is Friday, April 22, at 5 pm Eastern Time.
